Claude Just Killed The World Models

 What's happening: Anthropic released MHS, the Model Hardware Standard. It is a protocol that lets Claude operate physical equipment: microscopes, robotic arms, liquid handlers, lasers. Standardized drivers. Basic commands. Read and write. Early adopters include AWS, Danaher, Universal Robots, and Doosan Robotics. Claude is already calibrating lasers, watching through a camera, adjusting the beam, and writing scripts so the machine can run itself.

 How this hits reality: The AI industry has been pouring billions into world models. The idea was that an AI needs an internal simulation of physics, space, and causality to interact with the real world. Anthropic just proved that it does not.
